BOTOX® Cosmetic: BOTOX® Cosmetic is used to reduce and smooth fine, moderate, or severe lines and wrinkles caused by muscle activity in the face. Each target the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet, and horizontal lines on the forehead, which are the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Dr. Daniels injects these muscles with BOTOX® to temporarily reduce muscle activity and visibly smooth wrinkles and lines. With the continued treatment of the relaxing of these muscles, less product is needed and often the smoothing of these lines and wrinkles will last longer. BOTOX® also can be used as a preventative measure against the development of future lines and wrinkles.

Dermal Fillers
As we age, collagen and fat in the face break down and cause a loss of volume. Dr. Daniels’ expertise in choosing the correct filler and its placement allows her to turn back the hands of time for her patients. Facial fillers are most commonly used to lift and contour the cheeks, fill the hollows underneath the eyes, smooth wrinkles and lines, and enhance the lip area. Fillers are often used to enhance and restore a youthful appearance.

Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a chemical exfoliation solution that is generally used on the face, neck, chest or hands. Depending on the strength and type of acid used in the peel, one can expect a smoother, brighter, texture and color anywhere from 1-14 days post treatment. Chemical peels come in various strengths, and can penetrate multiple layers of the skin. The most common skin concerns that can be treated with a chemical peel are: fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, melasma and rough texture.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion uses a minimally invasive instrument that mechanically exfoliates and removes the outermost superficial layer of the skin, taking with it dry, dead skin cells and leaving behind a brighter and smoother canvas. It can be used on all skin types, and causes no downtime.

Dermaplane
Dermaplaning is a noninvasive treatment that uses a blade stroked along the skin at a 45 degree angle, which removes dead skin and “peach fuzz” from the surface. Dermaplaning has many benefits outside of exfoliation, such as: it promotes smoother skin, removes vellus facial hair that can trap oil and dirt and enhances skin care product absorption. There is no need to worry about this hair growing back darker or thicker. Vellus hair will grow back the same color, size, and shape, as the structure of the hair is not changed during dermaplaning. This procedure can be repeated every 3-4 weeks as desired.

Back Facial
A back facial is a skin treatment which is formulated specifically for the back. Back facials utilize many of the techniques used in skin treatments for the face, and they are supposed to clarify and soften the skin of the back while providing a deep moisturizing treatment which will leave the client with a healthy, glowing back. People often have trouble maintaining a skin care regimen for their backs since the back is notoriously hard to reach. With the assistance of back scrubbing shower tools, most people can keep their backs clean, reducing clogged pores and other skin problems, but it can be hard to moisturize the back or to treat dry skin and other irritating and sometimes unsightly conditions. While a back facial might sound slightly silly, this spa treatment can actually be quite beneficial, especially for people who spend a lot of time in low-backed clothing or swimsuits.

Body Mud Wrap
Mud wraps involve the body being covered in mud and then wrapped in warming blankets for an extended period of time. The mud and heat cause the body to sweat, which can help to firm, tone and hydrate the skin and also soothe and relax the muscles. The mud also helps to relieve inflammation and can help rid the body of toxins. Body Wraps are not a form of weight loss and should not be considered one.

Swedish Massage
The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on the outermost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff “trouble spots” in your body. This style of massage uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of the muscles, tendons and other tissues deep under your skin. Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage can be quite therapeutic, often relieving patterns of tension and helping with muscle injuries.

Hot Stone Massage
During this style of massage, the therapist places warm stones on certain areas of the body, such as acupressure points. The stones may be used as massage tools or may be temporarily left in place. Used along with other massage techniques, hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.

Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy, your body goes through major changes. Pregnancy massage can help with these changes by reducing stress, decreasing arm and leg swelling, and relieving muscle and joint pain. Massage can be particularly helpful during a time when medication and other medical options may be more limited. Using specially designed massage pillows, the massage therapist will help get you into a comfortable position for this type of massage. Pregnancy massage cannot be performed during the first trimester
